Sahaja Yoga is a form of meditation and spiritual practice founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970. It aims to awaken the inner energy known as Kundalini, leading to self-realization and a state of balance and inner peace.
There’s a common misconception that meditation solely promotes relaxation, yet its benefits extend far beyond that, fostering balance at every level. Sahaja Yoga, practiced in over 120 countries worldwide, has demonstrated its transformative effects, including stress reduction, clear attention, emotional balance, improved physical health, and spiritual growth.
The ancient practice of yoga, traditionally pursued by a select few who renounced worldly pursuits to attain self-realization and enlightenment, may seem impractical and inaccessible on a mass scale in modern times. However, Sahaja Yoga offers a transformative solution. By awakening our inner energy, we can know the state of our energy centres, known as chakras, and learn how to improve them. Through Sahaja Yoga, we empower ourselves to become masters of our own well-being, bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary life.
Sahaja Yoga courses are free.
